We curate objects. We conserve sites. Our host communities have stories to tell and share. Every story is unique. We travel for difference. We travel to be inspired. We travel to develop. We travel fuelled by curiosity. Yet we continually underperform in the creation and delivery of great visitor experiences. Last week in Bled (Slovenia) the Heritage in Motion gathering addressed this issue. On 12 November in Barcelona the Best in Heritage Awards will celebrate successful examples of best practice.
